Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM offers a 30-day satisfaction replacement or refund guarantee on all purchases where an item is found to be defective. However, all items must first be returned and returns must meet the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requirements which are defined below. All non-defective returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee, no exceptions; we reserve the right to assess up to a 50% restocking fee for items returned in used condition or refuse the return. We do not accept returns or exchanges of brand name ip cameras, network video recorders (nvrs), or ip camera lenses. Special order items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Products sold by SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM are covered by each manufacturer’s warranty, service, and support policy (if any). SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM assigns and passes through to the Customer any warranty of the manufacturer, and Customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse only under such warranties and only as against the manufacturer of the products. We reserve the right to refuse Warranty requests where we deem the product to be damaged because of mishandling by the Customer; this includes but is not limited to splicing of BNC video cables or power cable from equipment, physical alteration to the product, use of equipment not authorized by us with our products, or software product alterations. We are not responsible for any data lost in the event of system hardware failure, or any costs incurred for labor for any recover, troubleshooting or installation. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM does not make any representations or warranties, whether expressed or implied, with respect to any of the products, including without limitation, warranties, merchantability, or appropriateness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties are disclaimed expressly.
Customer MUST obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within the 30-day guarantee return period for the product. The 30-day return period ends on the 30th day from the shipping date. The RMA number can be obtained through our online cart. Once you have obtained an RMA number online, please wait for the RMA approval before sending the item back to us; you will receive an email from one of our customer representatives authorizing your return and providing the return address where to send your return. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM will not accept returns without this authorization email and a RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days within which return products must be received by SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product. All unauthorized returns will be refused or returned to the sender, and the sender will bear all shipping and return charges, and releases SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM of all claims for loss in case the returned package is lost.
Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product(s) to SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers (e.g. UPS or FedEx) capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. We do not accept returns sent via Postal or Priority Mail. Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product(s) during shipment.
Customer agrees that all returned products will include the following:
* Original packaging (manufacturer’s box, plastic bags, etc.)
* Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.
* Copy of packing slip. Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
* All accessories (power supplies, cables, remote controls, batteries, software disks, etc.)
* Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)
* For any Refund or Exchange Returns, SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM will not refund to Customer the original shipping charges. In addition, SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM will assess a minimum 25% restocking fee against the Customer’s account. All merchandise unless otherwise indicated must be returned within 30 days from the original order date for a refund. No refunds are issued after the 30 day return period, no exceptions. Any items returned in used condition may be refused or a restocking fee up to 50% may be assessed. Any items returned returned after the 30day return policy will be subject to a minimum 50% restocking fee.
Be sure to clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the box and enclose the proof of purchase, otherwise, your return will be refused. Freight Collect or COD returns will also be refused.
SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM aims at providing the most accurate product information available from manufacturers. Please note that product specifications are subject to change without notice as product improvements are made by manufacturers. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM is not liable for discrepancies in product specifications or typographical errors posted on our website and actual specifications of the item received. In the event of minor specification discrepancies, such as TV Lines, Lux, and Power specifications, and discrepancy in audio, video, alarm, or power jack types specifications that can be corrected by providing appropriate connectors, requests for refund or exchange will be subject to a restocking fee as explained above, no exceptions.
Shipping Damage or Loss
It is possible that products may be damaged or lost during the shipping process. Please open and inspect your package for physical damage immediately before you let the Driver go. Report all physical damage to the Carrier Service Delivery Driver, and have him/her clearly mark the Bill of Lading (packing slip or invoice) before signing. Visible shipping damage must be reported immediately within 24 hours or receiving the shipment. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM will not be held responsible for any damages reported after 24 hours of receiving the package. All requests for returns resulting as a result of shipping damage beyond this 24 hour period will be denied.
For any lost or damaged packages an investigation will need to be done by the shipping carrier. This process may take up to 10 business days. No repalcements will be shipped until the investigation to a loss or damage claim is completed by the shipping carrier.
International orders shipped outside the United States via Postal Service will not be covered against any loss or damage claims.
Sales tax is only required for orders shipping within New York state. All orders shipping within New York will be charged the applicable sales tax according to your area’s tax rate.
Trademarks & Logo
All trademarks and logos used in this site are properties of their respective companies; they are used for demonstration of reproduction capabilities only. We resume no responsibility for determining trademark/logo ownership.
Limitation of Liability
In all circumstances, SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM’s maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products sold. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM shall NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, be liable upon a claim or action in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other claims relating to the products it sells which exceeds this liability limit. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM shall NOT be liable for third party claims for damages against the customer, or for malfunction, delays, interruption of services, loss of business, loss or damage to exemplary damages, whether or not SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM is apprised of the possibility of such claims of damage. We are not responsible for any data lost in the event of system hardware failure. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM will not be responsible for consequential damage to the system or its components caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed or obtained from SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM shall not be liable for damage to painted surfaces due to physical abuse, excessive use, liquids, chemicals spilled upon or inside the components including oxidation or corrosion to components caused by exposure to air or precipitation. The limited warranty also does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as result of: shipping or improper installation or maintenance; misuse, neglect or improper environment; any repair, modification, adjustment, or installation of options/parts by anyone other than our authorized service center, excessive/inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.
Digital Video Recorder (DVR) Policy
SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM is solely responsible for the sale of the DVR itself. Due to liability and legal issues, SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM is unable to assist in the areas of networking, firewall and/or anything outside the performance of the actual DVR purchased from SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM. In the event that a DVR is being returned for repair, all Hard Drives run the risk of having their data deleted or re-formatted. All data will be lost. It is advised that all DVR data be backed up before sending in for repair.
The Customer agrees to pay all invoices within the terms of the sale and further agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney fees necessary to collect past due amounts.
International orders placed by Customer for delivery of products to countries other than the USA may be subject to International Customs Duties in the receiving country. Payment for all Customs Duties and any other fees is the sole responsibility of the Customer. Delay in delivery of the order to the Customer caused by delay in clearance of the shipment from Customs is not the responsibility of SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM. In the event order is indefinitely delayed by Customs or fails to be cleared by Customs, the Customer shall be liable for the total amount of the order and shall not receive a refund. Customer shall be liable for all shipping fees if order is returned by Customs, and SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM reserves the right to refuse international shipments that are returned and require custom duties/tarriffs to be paid. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM does not control, influence, and is not liable for actions of the International Customs. Customer bears all responsibilty for international orders shipped via Postal Mail that are lost or damaged. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM will not bear any responsibility for lost or damaged international shipments. SECURITY-CAMERAS-CCTV.COM reserves the right to refuse refunds/exchanges on international orders.
