This DVR is designed to be used in an automobile. It operates on 11-30 volt DC power and is ideally suited for covert video recording in remote applications. It has four video inputs for connecting up to four cameras. In a vehicle, you can connect multiple cameras for different views, such as the front view, side view, rear view and inside view.

It takes a regular notebook PC hard disk and can be programmed to record at scheduled times, continuously record mode, motion activation, or by manual activation. The included viewer software allows the user to save video evidence to a removable drive via the USB port.

The video evidence can be searched by date/time of recording or by the event list. The JF-104P comes with the capability to connect the DVR to a vehicle ignition system to activate the recording of video/audio when the vehicle is started.

This device can also be used as a normal DVR for your CCTV system. It is small, more compact design yet has the full function and all latest features. For instance, it has the I/O for sensor inputs and alarm outputs, built-in PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) controller. LAN port, etc.
