The PowerDsine PD-7012G/AC/M is a 12-port high power PoE (Power over Ethernet) midspan with PowerView Pro secure power management, suitable for the installation of network cameras which demand more power than conventional PoE delivers such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras and IP PTZ dome cameras. The PowerDsine PD-7012G/AC/M is a high power midspan, capable of powering devices such as cameras with pan-tilt-zoom operation and IP dome cameras. The midspan can be used with devices which are PoE enabled, devices which will adhere to the IEEE802.3at pre-standard or can be used with a suitable PowerDsine splitter to power devices which are not natively PoE compliant. This 12-port midspan will inject power in up to twelve Ethernet cables simultaneously allowing the cables to carry both the data and the power to up to 12 standard IP cameras or devices. Using Power over Ethernet greatly simplifies installation. Having one cable which supplies both the power and the data to each camera makes installation quick, simple and cost-effective. Also, by not having to rely on power outlets at the point of installation the camera can effectively be mounted in a much wider range of locations such as factory/warehouse ceilings, building entrances and elevator doors etc. The PowerDsine PD-7012G/AC/M also includes tools for secure remote power management for easy control and troubleshooting of end terminals from a remote computer. This 12-port Power over Ethernet midspan is compatible with a range of PoE splitters and network cameras.

The PowerDsine PD-7012G/AC/M provides a safe and reliable solution for powering up to twelve network cameras which have higher power demands. A one-cable installation allows for quick and easy mounting of the camera, ideal for locations where there is no means of conventional power such as elevator doors, entrances to buildings or factories/warehouses etc.
