This unit is easy to set up and use. It's packed with a ton of nice features. Swapped out the drive after I got it and put in a 2TB drive. By my calculations, I should get around 3-4 months of recording (varies depending on motion & video settings). Tried both the network access and the iPhone/iPad interface - both worked well. My only complaint about this unit is one that seems common across this industry - ActiveX is required. Also, in order to access the DVR over the network you must be using a Windows machine with a 32bit version of Internet Explorer. The manual tells you that you need IE, but it does not state that it needs to be the 32bit version. Make sure you are not running the 64bit version when you try to connect! Thank you Security-Cameras-CCTV for being prompt in your email replies! They even corresponded with me on a Sunday afternoon, which was a very pleasant surprise.
