The CBGN345 is a high quality camera that offers high resolution at an affordable price. The 1/3 Sony HAD CCD chipset included in this camera allows 480 stunning TV lines for the CBGN345. For situations where the lighting may be limited, the CBGN345 (0.5 Lux) offers the Automatic Gain Control (AGC) feature to allow these cameras to get brighter quality pictures in lower lit conditions. For situations in which the environment offers too much lighting, the CBGN345 also offers the Auto White Balance and the Back Light Compensation (BLC) features to counteract the potentially overwhelming brightness in lighting. Combined with its Auto White Balance capability, the on/off option for the AGC and the BLC features allows for picture quality with minimal flickering. (Lens not included)

FL (Flickerless)

If the camera is used with 50 Hz fluorescent lighting, there maybe flicker on the screen. In this case, FL switch should be set to ON position, but, FL switch should be set to OFF in 60 Hz power source. Flickerless mode can overcome flickering on the screen in case that the AC power frequency is different from the vertical sync frequency of the camera.

AGC (Automatic Gain Control)

With AGC ON, the setting, camera's sensitivity is automatically increased when the level of ambient light drops. AGC function automatically controls signal gain in the range of maximum 28dB.

BLC (Back Light Compensation)

Strong light entering from an object's background may cause the lens iris to close, there by possibly obscuring or darkening desired portions of the scene. Backlight Compensation function automatically adjust the video level so as to preserve visibility in important section of the scene.
